Fruit and branch.

A verdant leafy houseplant is just the ticket for livening up a space. And when it offers fresh citrus on demand? Welp, even better. These lil’ trees come all bundled up in jute and ribbon—aka, ripe and ready for gift-giving—with handy instructions to help you or the lucky recipient get growing no matter your hardiness zone. Each one’s living room–friendly, too (just ask our guide to indoor fruit plants), so you can have a happy, thriving sprout even if you don’t enjoy balmy weather year-round.

Looking for more greenery by mail? We've got magnolia trees and olive saplings here for the taking, too.

Set your leafy new pal in a sunny spot (we’re talking “8 to 12 hours of sun a day” sunny) and keep it watered in well-drained soil.

This lemon tree has deep green leaves, delicately sweet fruit, and fragrant white blossoms in early spring—it's basically the citrus of our dreams.

And when life gives you lemons? You bet we've got ideas:

Meet the Maker

The Magnolia Company

Barberville, FL
Right smack dab in the heart of Florida, swathed in sunlight (and misty bursts of rain) groves of magnolias are tended and sung to (OK, that may be a slight stretch) by expert tree people. More importantly the harvested leaves are some of the loveliest on the planet and lend themselves to wreaths and other creations. The company has also expanded its repertoire to include small trees bundled in jute and ribbon that make for lovely and lasting mementos.
